Rosie & Callie need another chance

Rosie and Callie are a beautiful mother-and-daughter duo seeking a quiet, understanding home where they can feel safe and loved once more.

Rosie, 5 years old, is mum. She is mostly white and fluffy, shy and cautious, and likes to observe from a safe hiding spot, quietly taking in her surroundings. With time, patience, and the right support, she slowly gains confidence and we’re happy to provide advice on how to help her adjust—step by step, at her own pace.

Callie,4 years old, is Rosie’s daughter. She has a sleek short calico coat, is more confident and forthcoming. She takes the lead, and Rosie depends on her presence. Because of their strong bond, they must be adopted together.

These lovely girls were originally adopted but unfortunately have been returned due to their family relocating. New environments and faces can feel overwhelming for these two but since they’ve been back at SAFE they’ve already begun responding to gentle approaches and encouragement from staff and volunteers.

Rosie and Callie are best suited to a calm, child-free home with someone who understands the value of slow trust and quiet companionship. They may never be lap cats and will need their own secure room where they can stay for as long as they need —possibly 6 months or more, but if you can meet them with patience, no expectations, and a kind heart, you’ll be giving them another chance.
