About Poppy
*In foster care in Waverley, Sydney*
Poppy's joyful zest for life isn't just a hallmark of her wonderful personality - it's a sign of the gorgeous companion she'll make for one very special person, couple or family!
Cuddly and affectionate, this sweet kitten is also incredibly outgoing and adventurous. She loves being around people - she'll even follow you into the shower! - and she's super-friendly to other animals as well :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Poppy is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is with you! I'd be happy almost anywhere, as long as there's loads of love and care on offer, and some fun toys to play with. I'm really into the buzzy atmosphere of my foster home, which has two primary-school aged kids and a bunch of other nice pets, so a family home would suit me down to the ground!
One important requirement I do have is that I'm kept indoors-only, to protect my delicate pink features from the sun. Skin cancer is common in white cats who go outside, so please keep me safe!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten-high! I wouldn't say I'm too hectic though - I won't run you ragged with my antics :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: The two young children (aged 4 and 8) in my foster home are awesome! They pick me up and cuddle me gently all the time, which I love.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I currently live with three other cats and a large gentle dog, and I adore them all!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
