Mellow

This sweet and sensitive puppy is ready to start his journey into the world. Mellow has a loving nature, though he's still working on building his confidence. He can be timid on approach but quickly becomes excited and may jump up when unsure - a sign he's still figuring things out and would benefit from a calm, understanding environment.

Mellow is very food motivated and already shows good focus when treats are involved. He's learning to hand target with a lure, which is a great foundation for future training. While he hasn't shown interest in toys just yet, this will likely change once he's settled into a home of his own.

On walks, Mellow can be a little erratic and lacks confidence, often zig-zagging as he explores. He'll thrive with gradual exposure to the world at his own pace and support from a patient handler. The same applies to his interactions with other dogs - he's under-confident and will benefit from slow, positive introductions. He may be able to go to a home with a tolerant, social dog to help show him the ropes. He can be a little bit unsure how to behave around children so is best suited to a home with older mature children who have been around dogs before!

Mellow is a lovely pup with so much potential. With the right guidance, he's sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.
