About Pecan and Pistachio
*In foster care in Annandale, Sydney*
Meet Pecan and Pistachio - AKA your new besties! These gorgeous girls absolutely adore each other - especially during playtime and sleep time! - but they've got plenty of room in their hearts for a wonderful human connection too :)
Pecan's a feisty and funny girl who's low-key obsessed with her toys. She'll sometimes growl at her sister, reminding her that she doesn't like to share...
Which is fine by Pistachio (also known as Little P in her foster home). She has her own favourite toys - namely Pecan's tail and head! Pistachio may seem innocent and angelic, but when it’s playtime she turns into a total monster.
When they're not being little devils, Pecan and Pistachio love to show off their softer sides - following curiously at your heels, keeping tabs on your housework and coming in hard for cuddles and kisses! They’re the absolute best to come home to after a long day at work :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Pecan and Pistachio is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: As long as we have each other, and get lots of kisses, cuddles and human time then we’re happy! We’re still adapting to loud noises like the vacuum, but other than that we’re very chill.
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: We play hard and sleep hard! An afternoon nap after lunch is a must - then we get back into the mischief-making with a vengeance :) Our favourite spot for games is the dirty washing basket - we like to run around and play hide and seek in there for ages!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We’ve heard that kids are fun to play with but we’ve never met any before. We reckon as long as they respect our boundaries, aren’t too rough and have toys to share, we should be fine!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Other cats seem like so much fun! But if we’re the only pets in the home that’s totally OK, as we have each other for company.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
