About Winston
Winston is a gentle soul with long legs and a calm heart. He is past the puppy chaos and well into his mellow, easygoing phase. This handsome Kelpie isn’t your typical high-energy herder, he’s more of a chill-out-on-the-veranda kind of guy.
Tested around livestock, Winston showed no interest, so he’s not your next working dog, but he’s definitely someone’s perfect companion. He enjoys his own company and isn’t one to roughhouse with other dogs, even while living amongst a pack of 10 in foster care. He prefers quiet time and human connection over playtime, making him a great fit for an older family or individual seeking a loyal, low-maintenance mate.
Winston has solid recall and knows his basic commands, but could benefit from a bit of manners polishing (nothing a little patience and routine can’t fix). He hasn't had much exposure to children and tends to keep to himself around them, so a calm, adult-only home would be ideal.
He’s not particularly active and doesn’t need a huge property, just a bit of space to stretch his legs and a comfy place to snooze. He’d thrive as an only dog or perhaps with one calm canine companion.
If you're looking for a relaxed, independent dog who enjoys quiet companionship and a slower pace of life, Winston might just be your perfect match.
Winston is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
