About Coota
Little Coota has been nicknamed the Pocket Rocket in his foster home. He's equal parts beautiful border collie and handsome kelpie, so the best of both worlds!
A great little dog, Coota is on the smaller side of his breed making him easy to throw in the car and bring along on all the fun!
Coota has basic training down - he can sit and stay and is learning to walk well on lead.
He's a very gentle guy who is living happily with two other dogs, two cats, a bunny and four kids. He likes to know where his human is, but is getting more independent every day. He LOVES a snuggle on the lounge at the end of the day.
Coota sleeps all night, is perfectly house trained (not one accident!) and he doesn't chew, dig, or bark! An amazing feat for a old kelpie x collie his age!
He would be best suited to a family with someone home all the time or a calm, friendly resident dog to keep him company when the family are out.
Coota is very food motivated and he is easy to train because of this. He would benefit from someone who is invested in continuing his training.
Coot could make a great pet for someone interested in agility, obedience or dog sports as he loves a ball and toy and shows great drive. However, he's also a chiller and is happy to potter about the garden in his foster, play fetch or tug and laze in the sun.
If you’re after a great all rounder of a dog - Coot is your guy!
Coota is located in NSW.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
