Norman is an active, energetic boy who needs an experienced owner who can keep up with his energy levels. He thrives on play, so having someone who can take him for runs or play plenty of fetch will be key to keeping him happy and healthy. Norton loves his toys, though he's still learning the art of giving them up, so some patience will be needed there.

As playful as Norton is, he also loves his people - he loves to lean against legs and receive lots of pats. He gets so excited to meet new people that he can sometimes forget his manners and jump, so someone who is willing to help him learn the appropriate ways to greet people would be best for him. He bonds quickly with handlers, especially with play time and brain-training.

He'd do best with a calm, social dog or as a single dog. Norman loves other dogs, but he is still learning to read their body language and respect their boundaries. He can be very forward, so needs a tolerant dog who can teach him the ropes!
