Hello there, I’m Abby. I’m a gentle soul with a love for the simple things in life, like a good walk, a comfy bed, and a sneaky treat or two. I’m calm, quiet, and incredibly easy to live with. I don’t make a fuss, I don’t bounce off the walls, and I don’t follow you around demanding constant attention. But if you offer me some affection, I’ll happily lean in for a cuddle.

My number one passion in life is going for walks. I could walk for hours and still be ready for more. I walk beautifully on the lead and enjoy taking in all the sights and smells around me. I’m not in a rush, I just like to soak it all in. Just a heads up though, if you try to turn around and head home too early, I might stop in my tracks to let you know I’d prefer to keep going.

When I’m not out adventuring, I’m the queen of chilling out. Once inside, I’ll head straight to my bed and stay there, content and quiet, for hours. I’m also a bit of a snack opportunist. If you happen to leave something tasty unattended, I might try my luck. I can be a little cheeky like that.

Toys are fun too, but I prefer the tough ones. The soft, squeaky ones never stand a chance. I like my playtime sturdy and my naps uninterrupted.

If you’re after a sweet, relaxed companion who loves her walkies, enjoys the occasional mischief, and knows how to truly unwind, I might just be your perfect match.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
