Polly may be 10, but don’t go calling her a “senior” just yet!
This little lady has zoomies in her soul and a tail that wags like it’s powered by pure sunshine! ☀️

Polly has blossomed from a life of neglect into one full of love—and she’s taken to it with so much gratitude and joy. She’s eager to learn, especially when food is involved. No fancy treats needed—her regular kibble is all it takes to have her enthusiasm for learning at a high.

So far, Polly has absolutely nailed sit, down, stay, heel, wait, bed and walks well on lead. She’s fully house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps like a dream from 9pm to 7am. Just hand her a chew treat, say goodnight, and she’s settled in for sweet dreams.

Her house manners? Impeccable. She’s not a beggar, not a sneak-thief, and won’t snatch food from little hands. When meals are served, Polly simply trots to her bed and waits patiently—though a tiny bit of drool might escape in anticipation of an after dinner treat for being such a good girl.

Polly adores her humans and is especially sweet and gentle with children. She’s currently in foster care with two young kids (ages 5 and and she absolutely adores them.

Being near her people makes Polly’s heart happy. Whether it’s curling up next to you during a movie, napping while you work, or resting her head on your knee just to be close—Polly’s the definition of loyal and loving. She’s also a road trip fan and will happily ride along for errands or little adventures.

She’s currently learning to be home alone and doing so well. That said, she’d thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not—maybe you work from home, are retired, have kids at home, or can take her along to work. She’s flexible, as long as she’s included.

And let’s not forget—Polly loves fashion! She eagerly pokes her head into sweaters and struts around like the stylish queen she is.

Polly’s only work-in-progress is around unfamiliar dogs. She can get a bit vocal when meeting new pups on walks, but with a little patience, space, and calm introductions, she’s learning to keep her cool and enjoys make friends in a controlled environment and in her own time.
She's attended dog training sessions and has been the class star!

Polly is an all round gem.
