About Flint
đź We Know... the Photos Are Bad - But the Puppies Are So Good! đśđ
Weâll be the first to admit it these glamour shots are more âcaught mid-sneezeâ than âInsta-famous.â But donât let the blurry zoomies fool you behind every one of these chaotic little faces is a soon-to-be heart-stealer with paws too big for their own good and personalities youâll adore.
SAFE Newman has multiple litters of puppies currently in foster care, and while theyâre not quite ready to head to their new homes just yet (a couple more weeks of growing up to do), weâre taking expressions of interest now from loving families ready to welcome a new best mate.
đĄ Why so many blurry puppies?
Each pup is in a foster home not a shelter being raised with love, socialisation and one-on-one care. That means weâre learning about their quirks, snuggle styles, and snack preferences. It also means no two pups are the same!
What we can tell you so far:
âď¸ Theyâre growing up in warm, safe homes
âď¸ They're already showing off their playful, cheeky natures
âď¸ They'll be ready to move on soon microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked
âď¸ Theyâll grow to a range of sizes and personalities, weâll help match you to the right one
đ¸ More info (and slightly better photos) will be coming soon as these little legends grow, but if youâre interested in adopting when theyâre ready, donât wait! Get in early and submit an expression of interest via our adoption application form, and weâll be in touch to arrange a meet and greet with your future best mate.
Fostering means we know these pups well, and weâre great at matching them to the right families. We donât have a shelter to visit, but we can easily arrange meetups with our foster carers.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
6 GREAT REASONS TO ADOPT FROM SAFE:
1. Lifetime Support: If you can no longer care for your adopted pet, please inform SAFE, and we will do our best to help you find a suitable solution.

3. Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination, microchip and desexing
4. Foster care instead of cage confinement, ensuring lots of love and socialisation
