NOTE: You are unable to meet Misty until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Misty in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family not let outside 24/7 with no interaction
• I LOVE other dogs but I’m a very energetic and playful dog, so I need a doggy playmate who will match my energy levels and playfulness.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as when I'm excited I get very bouncy and mouthy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive, due to this its best my new homes doesn’t have cats.

• Highly food motivated
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Love to snooze on the couch
• I walk well on lead for a young doggo but having daily walks should help me improve my lead skills
• Exuberant & full of beans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I appear to be quiet vocal at times when left alone - a family who has a lot of time for me, allow me indoors and leave me with lots of mental enrichment when home alone is recommended
• I am social with other friendly dogs however I will react if they are too full on or reactive to me, further socialisation is recommended
