About Sheila
I bet you’ve never met a Sheila like me! I’m a well-travelled gal and moved around Australia with my owner quite a bit over my 8 years of life. It means I’m adaptable and a have been lucky to see lots of great things. My owner is moving again, but I can’t go with him. I’ve got all my paws crossed that I can find a beautiful home to become the love of someone else’s life now.
My name is Sheila, I’m a pretty blue petite merle lady. I have no issue with passing by other dogs and seeing them out and about. Recently I joined Aunty Sam where I’m being well cared for until my forever home is found. I’ve got to meet loads of new doggy friends of all shapes and sizes here as Aunty Sam runs a boarding home. She makes it easy for me by letting us all know what the rules are and so we happily play within those. I’d love a special home all to myself, but I could happily share it with a sweet boy too so we could play together.
I’ve met a few kids over the years and to be honest they weren’t always great experiences, so my choice is no full-time kids please! I’m sorry to sound fussy but cat free is also important. All that said I’m not precious at all. I’m not destructive, I don’t jump fences, I’m good on lead, I love to play, I like the car and travel well, I’m not a fussy eater, I love cuddles, I will need time to settle but I’m not a barker.
I love getting out, meeting people, going for walks & runs and hanging at home with my human/s.
Like any dog I know, I love my person to be home, but I can cope with workdays on my own. I’m in super shape for what some may call mature aged, in fact I don’t have any medical history at all! My sterilisation is 12th August, and I hope to be heading to my new home a week or two later after I’ve fully recovered. I like to think I can convert any dog lover to be specifically a Great Dane Lover.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions and top marks in my health check.
