About Rosie
Meet Rosie! Rescued in true storybook fashion, Rosie was found stuck high in a tree as a tiny kitten and bravely saved by fire rescue. Since then, she’s been writing her own tale, one full of food, affection, and a bit of sass. Rosie loves her food and will definitely let you know when it’s mealtime with her adorable (and persistent) vocals. She’s a total sweetheart when she wants affection, a real sook who will nuzzle up for pats and even give you a few licks. But don’t let your guard down too much..her love sessions can quickly turn into playtime! Rosie has a habit of play-biting and gently holding you with her claws when she gets overstimulated. It’s all in good fun for her, but it can be misunderstood as aggression because she gives very little warning. Rosie is a dominant girl who knows exactly what she wants. She’d thrive best in a home with either a young cat or dog that’s still learning the ropes, or with a submissive pet who will happily let her be the boss. She’s not a good fit for homes with young children, but would do beautifully with an experienced cat owner who understands feline behaviour and can give her the time and space she needs to adjust. Though she has a tough-girl exterior, Rosie is, at heart, a loyal and loving companion who just wants to be near her people. She’s full of character, charm, and cuddle potential—on her own terms, of course! If you’re looking for a quirky, spirited, and deeply affectionate cat to bond with, Rosie might just be your girl. Rosie will need to remain indoors to keep her safe from outside dangers. If you would like to meet Rosie, please speak with the friendly team at PETstock Tuggerah!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
