About Rowan
Rowan came to us lost and afraid, being sighted around the neighbourhood frequently for the last few days, trying to find home. He proved evasive, avoiding attempts of capture until in the middle of the night, where a kind Samaritan was able to catch him by surprise!
He immediately made it clear to us that he was a boy, warming up very fast to the girls adjacent to his cage, but he remained hesitant towards people, so he would benefit in a home where there are other pigeons. That being said, Rowan is still brave and will always be curious to take a few treats from your hand and watch you curiously from afar, he just needs some more time to trust people again. 🧡
Could you be his safe place?

Adoption details
Thank you for considering adopting from FFPR!
Once you have expressed interest in a bird, we ask that you formally apply to adopt via our adoption form (this can be done ahead of time) https://forms.gle/cjP9TZJcKAgkze6A6
From there we will work with the adopter to find a bird that suits their lifestyle, and organise a meet and greet at our shelter. We offer continious support post-adoption and are always available for help or questions.
