At 1 year and 7 months old, he's hit that perfect stage between playful kitten and laid-back adult. Whether he's chasing a toy mouse or curling up in a sunny spot for a nap, Augie brings warmth and personality into every room he enters.
He's curious about everything (especially your snacks), loves chin scratches, and isn't shy about flopping over for a belly rub from his favorite humans. With his dapper tuxedo markings and gentle nature, Augie is as photogenic as he is loving.

BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
