About Earl
đŸ Meet Earl, a stunningly handsome 20kg Rottweiler x Blue Cattle Dog, still a youngster at around 2 years old. Our vet has estimated that Earl was born on 19 July 2023.
Quite the well-rounded package, this boy is very intelligent and knows all his basic commands...and he's very gentle when taking treats. He would thrive in a home that will keep him mentally stimulated and possibly teach him some new tricks, as he is eager to learn and eager to please.
He is an affectionate dog who loves to meet new people. He has very good manners and will happily sit at your feet awaiting a scratch. He loves to be told what a good boy he is.
Although he hasnât yet met the resident cats properly, he doesnât seem interested in them in the slightest so, with a proper introduction, would probably do ok with a feline friend.
Earl is crate and toilet trained. He walks well on a lead and loves to go on a sniffing adventure and to see new sights. He is also quite the talker and will try and have a whole conversation with you.
He has children in his foster home and loves being included in their games. But being such an affectionate boy, he does need to be pulled up when the kissing gets too much for the little ones. He would be ideally suited to a family with dog savvy children who respect his personal space whilst still including him in their activites. He thrives on the companionship of children and adults.
Earl is dog-friendly and would love a compatible canine companion to romp around the yard with. Although still coming out of his shell at his foster home, he has shown keen interest in zoomies and toys.
Earl would do well in just about any situation, as long as he is regarded as an integral part of the family. Being so affectionate and people-focused, he would love to be welcomed inside to snuggle on the couch. He's definitely not suited to a solitary life in the backyard.
Earl loves going for walks and is up to any adventure, but he is equally happy at home just relaxing with his family.
