You’ve been waiting for that one special rescue — and this is it.

Meet Thor, a sweet older gentleman (around 8–9 years) who was heartbreakingly surrendered to the pound because his family couldn’t afford the medical care he needs.

So, what’s going on? Like many senior dogs, Thor has a few age-related issues: arthritis, ACL problems, and spondylosis (bone spurs) in his spine. But here’s the good news: it’s all manageable with treatment, which we will fully cover while he’s in foster care — probably regular pentosan injections and supplements.

💔 Thor is currently in the pound — in pain and surrounded by stress. That’s no place for a dog who just wants to love and be loved. Staff say he’s an absolute darling — affectionate, gentle, and craving connection.

👉 We need to get him out ASAP.

We’re urgently seeking a foster or foster-to-adopt home with no other pets or small kids, where Thor can heal, rest, and rediscover what it feels like to be safe.
