About Alfie
Meet Alfie – Your Purrfectly Affectionate and Cuddly Companion 💙
At 13 years young, Alfie is a beautiful boy with a heart full of love and a gentle, affectionate soul. He was adopted from the RSPCA as a 10-month-old kitten and has spent the last 12 years being adored by his beloved human. Sadly, as her health declined and dementia took hold, she could no longer care for him 😿
Thankfully her daughter stepped in to care for Alfie, knowing it could only be temporary due to strict strata laws limiting her to two cats and she already had two. Although she didn’t want to part with Alfie, she had no choice, so she reached out to Ninth Life Foundation to help find him a forever home 🏠
Alfie’s warm and loving nature is a true testament to the affection he’s received throughout his life. He’s incredibly friendly, loves a good pat and enjoys lap time and companionship. He’s also playful, enjoying a good zoom around or chasing after his toys. Alfie is a wonderful mix of snuggly and independent; he’ll seek you out for affection but is equally content enjoying some quiet time 😺
He’s a chatty boy who will chirp a cheerful hello in the morning or when you call his name. He enjoys being brushed which keeps his magnificent coat looking its best 🪮
Alfie gets along well with dogs and has been fine with female cats, but he does not tolerate male cats. While he hasn’t had experience with children his gentle nature suggests he could adapt to a home with calm, respectful children who are introduced to him slowly and thoughtfully.
If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, talkative and affectionate companion, Alfie might just be your perfect match 💕

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attention…even devotion. You’ll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming – a great way to bond- as they often don’t have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and you’ll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
