The Lost Dogs Home is trialing a special socialisation program designed especially for the cats that don't fit the normal parameters for standard adoptions. The cats that are shut down, terrified and occasionally even a little bit bad tempered.

Batman is one of those cats. He's a street cat used to having to survive on his own. He's never had a Robin to have his back, to look out for him, to feed him or show him any love or affection.

The shelter is an overwhelming and scary place for a cat like Batman. There are so many people, noises and smells that he simply doesn't understand.

We want this special program to succeed. We want to save as many fragile lives as we can but we can't do it without you.

We need people who are willing to take a chance on a cat like Batman. A cat that is not going to run to meet you when you get home, he's not going to play with toys and sit on your lap. In reality he is probably going to hide for weeks after you adopt him but when he comes out, when he trusts you enough to ask you for affection it will all be worth it.

Adopting Batman is truly saving a life. He can't live int he shelter forever. He needs someone like you to take a chance on him.
