About Colt
Howdy, I'm Colt! A handsome and cheeky young Australian Cattle Dog cross bursting with potential and waiting to find my forever herd! Could that be with you?
Don't let my initial shyness fool you - I'm a social butterfly who just needs a little time to blossom in new environments and once I feel comfortable, my playful and cheeky personality shines through. I would love to share my new home with older children who can understand my need for quiet companionship and quirky Cattle nature.
I'm a bright young lad who thrives on learning and needs daily opportunities to exercise my mind and body. Think positive reinforcement training, wobble kong, long lasting chews, and sniffaris, I REALLY enjoy sniffing! I dream of having indoor and outdoor access, so I can enjoy the best of both worlds and would love nothing more than exploring a large backyard, chasing after toys, and collapsing into a cozy bed for a well-deserved snooze.
Bonus points if there's a friendly canine companion in the home! I have met many dogs in my foster home and LOVE their company. I would greatly benefit from a wise canine companion who can teach me the ropes and provide me with endless playtime opportunities. I love exploring beaches and going for hikes with my canine besties and would prefer to avoid dog parks, as they can overwhelm me.
