About Betty
Meet Betty, a snuggly slice of pug perfection with a whole lot of personality packed into 11kgs of adorableness.
At the beautiful age of 5 years and 9 months old, Betty has come into care through no fault of her own as a private surrender.
Betty has the charming soul of a wise old lady and the curiosity of a pup discovering the world for the first time.
While Betty is currently on a lighthearted fitness journey (think more snacks in moderation, less couch-potato marathons), her heart is as full as her belly used to be and she’s loving the fresh air and fun of getting out and about.
When it comes to home life, Betty is toilet trained. Although can have an accident once in a blue moon.
Betty is a typical Pug who enters a home and settles very quickly making it her home. Her happy little personality will shine straight away.
Betty is the queen of chill when she’s indoors, perfectly content to nap the day away in your company, but the moment you even look at her harness, she becomes a whirlwind of excitement She absolutely lights up for walkies, and though she enjoys a good stroll (around 30 minutes seems to suit her well), she’s not afraid to let you know when she’s had enough, often by marching straight up to the nearest car as if to say, “Right, chauffeur, I’m ready now.”
So far, we haven’t heard Betty bark, but she makes the most wonderfully expressive puggy grunts and snorts that add to her endearing charm.
Betty is super child friendly and has lived with small kids previously without any issues except maybe being squished once in a while thru play.
When it comes to other dogs , Betty is an absolute social butterfly. She mingles with dogs of all shapes and sizes, showing off her confident and friendly nature.
Although Betty could happily live as the centre of your universe in a one dog home, soaking up all the love, but she’d also thrive with a fellow doggy sidekick to share the fun (and mischief) with.
Betty is not tested with cats
Betty's favourite place in the house, you ask? Wherever you are.
Betty especially loves curling up on the couch like a little loaf, loving up on her humans.
Betty is a true companion dog, happiest when she’s near her humans. She’s not really interested in toys, but she adores cuddles, exploring new spaces, and most importantly, her "food"!
Treats are the golden ticket to her heart and the perfect motivator for anything you want her to learn or do.
Betty’s quirky soundtrack of snorts and sighs is part of her lovable package, and while she doesn’t demand much, she’ll happily accept belly rubs, snacks , and your undivided attention.
Betty is equal parts snuggly shadow and independent explorer, with just the right amount of cheek to make you laugh every single day.
Betty is a huge social butterfly and would happily accompany you on any trip or destination she was allowed too go on!
If you’re looking for a funny, affectionate, slightly stubborn, and totally charming companion who will steal your heart (and most likely your seat), then Betty might just be the girl for you.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.

Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
