Scooby is a bright, energetic young dog who is bursting with potential and ready for a fresh start. Having spent his early life as an outdoor-only dog, Scooby is now on the lookout for a kind and patient family who will guide him as he learns how to be part of a loving home.

This bouncy boy is full of enthusiasm and thrives on human attention. While he’s still learning how to regulate his excitement, especially in stimulating environments, he’s incredibly responsive to training and would flourish with daily guidance, structure, and mental enrichment. Scooby needs a home that can commit to consistent training and help him learn how to settle, decompress, and enjoy the quieter sides of life.

Scooby isn’t quite ready to live with another dog just yet - he can be a bit rough and over-the-top with play and is still learning how to respect other dogs' boundaries. For now, he’s best as the only pet in the home while he continues to build his social skills at a pace that suits him.

He would do best in a household with teenagers or adults only, simply because of his size and boisterous nature. Scooby would absolutely love a home where his people are around more often than not – he’ll be your shadow, your workout buddy, your couch companion (once he learns what a couch is!), and your biggest fan.
