Raja

Raja is a beautiful young Bengal cat who had a rough start to life. He came into care after being dumbed, likely because his former owner did not understand or anticipate the enrichment and stimulation Bengals require to be happy.

Upon arrival at our sanctuary, Raja was severely malnourished, riddled with intestinal worms and suffering chronic diarrhoea.

With lots of love and care, Raja has absolutely flourished! He put on some much needed weight and his gastrointestinal system is back in order!

Raja is very affectionate and loves his back and booty scratches. He’s become friendly with every cat he has met and very much wants to be friends with our resident dogs.

Raja loves his scratch post, toys and Kong enrichment toys. He also loves to tackle puzzle toys for his favourite treats. He enjoys playing with water, so he may actually like shower time and I’m sure he’d love a fountain bowl! For this reason, his water bowl sits inside an empty litter tray.

He is litter trained and tidy in care.

Raja MUST be a strictly indoor-only cat, due to the nature of his high-energy breed and personality. He must NEVER be allowed free access to front/backyards unless on harness. Preference will be given to homes with a catio/cat enclosure.
