About Kona
Meet Kona – Your Loyal Shadow and Gardening Buddy 🌿
🦴 5-Year-Old Female Boerboel | Desexed | Located in [insert location]
Looking for a big-hearted best friend who just wants to be by your side? Kona might be your perfect match.
Kona is a sweet, soulful 5-year-old Boerboel who absolutely adores her humans. Her favourite place? Right beside you, soaking up affection, belly rubs, and quietly watching the world go by. While she’s more than happy to chill out, she also has her cheeky moments – like getting the zoomies when you’re gardening or joyfully “helping” prune the ferns! 🌿
She’s calm and well-behaved, but can be a little timid in new or noisy environments. With patience and love, her confidence has come a long way and continues to grow.
Kona is also crate trained and completely fine being left alone. She comfortably spends 6–8 hours in her crate while you’re at work or overnight, with no accidents and no fuss. Unless it’s around dinner time – then she’ll remind you (sweetly but firmly!) that 5 o’clock means food! 🍽️
She’s fine in the backyard, not destructive, though she may nibble on a few fallen ferns – a habit we’ve allowed because, honestly, it’s harmless and kind of adorable.
🐾 What Kona Needs:
A calm, loving home with someone around often – but she’s okay being left for the day too
No other dogs (she tolerates some but prefers her own space)
A dog-savvy owner who understands doggy boundaries and signals
Continued gentle support to build her confidence
On-lead walks – she’s great at busier places like The Strand or Ross River
Kona doesn’t seek conflict, but if a dog invades her space, she’ll set boundaries. She’s not aggressive – just self-assured and needs a home that respects her comfort zone.
🥰 Why You’ll Love Kona:
Big, soulful eyes and a heart full of love
Calm, affectionate, and a little cheeky
Gets zoomies while you garden
Crate trained, clean, and easy to leave at home
Loves her Kong toys and belly rubs
A true best friend waiting to meet you
Kona is desexed, healthy, and ready to find her forever family. If you understand big dogs with gentle spirits and strong hearts, Kona could be your perfect companion.
📩 Enquire now to meet Kona – your loyal, fern-chomping sidekick is waiting.
