He is playful, affectionate and loves to live life to the fullest! ๐บ๐คนโโ๏ธ
There is never a dull moment with Barney around; he will either be doing something silly to make you laugh, bouncing around the yard, or trying to cuddle up as close as possible to you. ๐งธ
Barney sometimes sleeps in funny positions like โthe starfishโ, or sleeps with his tongue hanging out. He is full of personality! ๐คช
When watching a movie on the couch, Barney loves to cuddle up next to his humans as close as possible! Despite his size, Barney definitely thinks of himself as a lap dog. ๐บ
Barney enjoys playing chasey and tug of war with his foster sister, who is a medium sized female dog. ๐ช
Barney loves to spend time in the backyard playing with all of his toys like balls, tug ropes, and squeaky toys. Barney has a funny habit of taking all the toys into one corner of the yard and stashing them in a big pile, then sitting next to them as if to show off his achievement! He is always making us laugh. ๐ฅ
Barney gets along well with other dogs. ๐ถ๐ถ He loves to stay close by to his humans and would suit a person or family who is home often. ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ง
Barney is toilet trained and knows how to sit. ๐ฝ๐
Barney is currently in training and is learning how to walk nicely on a leash. ๐ฆฎ
Barney can jump very high, so he needs a yard with 6ft fences or higher. ๐ก

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
