Introducing little Pastizzi, an adorable and very expressive little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Poodle mix! One look at his little face and gorgeous eyes is enough to make you melt!

Pastizzi is incredibly people-oriented and such a cuddler. His favourite pastime is snuggling on the couch with his human – and watching the telly! He recently enjoyed watching Shrek (but took a while to warm to Donkey!).

He can be quite energetic in spurts and enjoys his squeaky toys, but mainly when initiated by his carer. He also enjoys food puzzles and true to the Poodle in him, figures these out with ease.

Pastizzi mastered the doggy door like a pro, however, he still has accidents indoors and will require further toilet training but seems to understand what pee pads are and uses these on occasion.

He displays separation anxiety when his human is out of the house, so this will need to be managed to help him to become more comfortable being alone. He also requires a safe space during these periods to ensure he doesn’t succumb to the temptation to chew items that should be avoided! Considering this, Pastizzi will benefit from an environment where his human/s are home most of the time.

He sleeps beautifully through the night in his cozy little bed on the floor next to his human and loves his food and treats, including raw carrots!

Healthwise, Pastizzi was recently prescribed a course of ear drops for infection in both ears as well as medication for his skin irritation, both were effective. These conditions will need to be monitored ongoing. Pastizzi was recently desexed and in addition, he will soon have vaccination clearance to go on walks in the big wide world, which there is no doubt he will thoroughly enjoy!

Pastizzi shadows his calm female foster sister rather than interacting, so he will be fine in a home with or without a fur companion.

This little fellow is an absolute sweetheart who is just waiting to be a cherished member of his new, loving home.
