About Dawson
Meet BIG BIG BIG Boy Dawson
đŸ Your supersized snuggle buddy with a heart as grand as his belly!
If you're looking for unconditional love, look no further-Dawson is here and he's got plenty of love to give. This ginger tabby gentleman isn't just big in size-he's bursting at the seams with affection, charm, and a desire to be your full-time cuddle coach.
Dawson is the feline equivalent of a weighted blanket (with a motorboat purr to match). He's a massive smooch, a walking heart of gold, and he lives for quality time. Whether you're single, part of a busy family, or a senior seeking companionship, Dawson adapts beautifully-just as long as he gets to be close to his people.
He'll make himself at home draped across your lap, beside you on the couch, or wrapped around your heart. Dawson insists you slow down, relax, and enjoy life's simple pleasures-like a warm cup of tea and an even warmer orange cat.
Why you'll love BIG Boy Dawson:
Expert snuggler and de-stresser
Big appetite, bigger heart
Devoted, gentle, and incredibly affectionate
Happy in any home-singles, families, seniors alike
Loves being the center of your universe (and won't let you forget it!)
If you're ready to welcome a whole lot of love in a big orange package, Dawson is waiting to wrap you up in purrs and pure joy.
Adopt Dawson-because every home deserves a BIG cat with an even BIGGER heart.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
