About Fred
Meet Jonathan & Fred - Adorable 12-Week-Old Labrador Puppy Brothers Looking for Their Forever Homes (Separately!) 🐾
Jonathan and Fred are two lovable, wiggly 12-week-old Labrador pups who've had a great start to life in a loving foster home. After spending the past few weeks together, they're ready to find their own special families - separately - where they can continue to grow into confident, well-rounded dogs.
These boys are at a crucial stage in their development - the all-important training and socialization window - and they're seeking committed adopters who are excited to invest time, love, and patience into helping a young puppy blossom. Both pups would thrive in homes where they have another well-mannered dog to learn from and play with, though it's not a requirement.
About Jonathan & Fred:
Friendly, curious, and playful
Great with younger kids
Would love a doggy role model
Ready to start training!
Each pup is showing lots of personality, personality - Both are classic Labrador puppies: full of affection, energy, and eagerness to learn.
What They Need From You:
Daily positive reinforcement training
Patience with typical puppy behaviors like chewing, nipping, and potty training
Plenty of playtime and safe socialization opportunities
A secure yard or regular exercise outings
A family ready for the fun (and chaos!) of raising a puppy
If you're ready to welcome a puppy into your heart and home - and help shape a happy, well-adjusted adult dog - either Jonathan or Fred could be your perfect match.
Adopting a puppy is a big commitment, but the love and joy they bring is even bigger. 🐶❤️

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
