About Kayak & Canoe
*In foster care in Strathfield, Sydney*
Meet Kayak & Canoe – Bonded Brothers Full of Love, Purrs, and Personality!
Looking for a dynamic duo to fill your home with double the love, double the snuggles, and double the entertainment? Look no further than Kayak & Canoe, two inseparable brothers who are ready to paddle their way into your heart.
🧡 Canoe – The Snuggly Chatterbox
Canoe is your classic orange cat through and through—outgoing, spunky, and just a little bit chaotic in the most lovable way. He's a total velcro kitty who wants to be where you are, all the time. Expect nonstop purrs, enthusiastic headbutts, the softest fur you've ever felt, and sweet little chit-chat sessions whenever he’s around. If you're looking for a snuggly sidekick who doubles as your personal hype man, Canoe’s your guy.
💙 Kayak – The Quirky Sweetheart
Kayak is the quieter, more thoughtful brother—the kind of cat who’s always watching with curious eyes and those slightly-too-big ears that give him an adorably awkward charm. While Canoe leads the way, Kayak follows with gentle curiosity. Once you earn his trust, you'll uncover a soft-hearted lap cat in the making who purrs like a motorboat and soaks up affection with shy but happy gratitude.
🛶 The Bond
These boys are bonded in the truest sense. They find deep comfort in each other’s presence and love nothing more than wrestling, zooming, and cuddling up side by side. Their synchronized bedtime zoomies are a performance not to be missed!
If you’re ready to adopt not just one, but two incredible companions, Kayak and Canoe are ready to bring twice the joy to your life. With their nonstop purr engines, playful spirit, and endless brotherly love, they’ll make your home a warmer, happier place from day one.
Like all Maggie's pets, Kayak & Canoe are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: Kayak leans heavily on his brother Canoe for support so a home where they go together is best! They'd do well with a single, couple or family with older children. Open to meeting other cats in the home too.
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: We both play hard, but we crash hard too - preferably together in a kitten pile.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: While Canoe is a lover of all, Kayak would be best suited to homes with kids over 12 who respect his space and give him the patience to warm up to them.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats are great! But of course, we've got each other, so if we're the only kitties in the house that would be just fine as well. We haven't been too keen on the dogs when we've seen them in the house but a low key cat tested dog might work with the right introductions
Kayak & Canoe must be adopted together. They’re desexed, vaccinated, and ready to meet their forever family. 🐾

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
