Hi, my name is Jake - thanks for checking out my profile!

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I’m 2 years old (turning 3 in September), and I’m known as *one of the brindle boys*. Most of my brothers finished racing before me and have already found their forever homes. My foster mum says we all have the best nature *and* good looks - she’s not wrong!

Right now, I’m living with two greyhound foster sisters and one young whippet girl. She’s full of beans, and we love running around and playing with squeaky toys together. Oh my! How did I not know about toys before? I’m obsessed! Soft toys are my absolute favourite.

I was a little shy at first, but once I trust a human, I turn into a goofy, gentle boy who just wants to be near them and make them happy. Have I mentioned food? I *looooove* food. I’d do pretty much anything for it! Foster mum says that makes training eas, I say it’s a win-win!

I’m really excited about learning all the new things the world has to offer. I sometimes pull a little on the lead because I get so pumped when we’re out, but I’m working on it, promise!

At night, I have my own room (yes, really!). At first, I wasn’t a fan of being in there alone, but I’ve learned it’s okay, foster mum *always* comes back. I can hold my toileting overnight like a champ and I’ve *never* had an accident inside. How good is that??

Now I’m ready to find my very own forever people. Whether you live in a house or an apartment, have a doggy friend for me or want me all to yourself, I’m not fussy. As long as I’m loved unconditionally (and have plenty of toys!), I’ll be the happiest boy around.
