Meet Sweetpea!
We know nothing about Sweetpea's past, only that she was a stray. He's what we have found out about her:
Sweetpea is a gorgeous, affectionate young girl with a beautiful brown brindle coat. When relaxed and happy, she has a delightful body wiggle that's sure to melt your heart! She's a friendly, social pup who loves everyone she meets, making friends wherever she goes.
Personality & Behavior:
Very affectionate, soft, and friendly - loves to be close to people.
Wiggly and enthusiastic, especially when excited or happy.
Slightly cautious with sudden changes in her environment, so a calm, predictable routine helps her feel secure.
Excited about other dogs and could potentially live with a canine companion after successful meet & greet.
Training & Activities:
Good on a harness; has enjoyed outings with multiple volunteers.
Loves exploring on "Sniffaris" and going "bush" - she's an adventurous explorer at heart!
Will benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training, routine, and mental & physical enrichment.
Ideal Home:
A loving family environment with plenty of structured exercise and mental stimulation.
Preferably with a secure fence for safe outside time. Indoors living with her family is what she's like best of all!
Best suited for a family with dog-savvy kids (she should meet potential family members prior to adoption to ensure compatibility).
While she has not been tested with cats, her friendly nature suggests she'd adapt well with proper introductions.
Additional Recommendations:
Regular exercise, a high-quality diet, and consistent routines will help her thrive.

Enquiries sent through PetRescue will NOT be answered. Please follow the process below
1) Please note the name of the animal you're interested in
2) Visit the RSPCA Queensland adoption site at www.rspcaqld.org.au/adopt
3) Search for the animal either by type or location
4) View the animal's profile, and click the link to submit an application
5) RSPCA staff will contact you to inform you about the outcome of your application and to talk through the next steps if your application is successful!
