Bianca is a beautiful Staffy Mastiff (English Staffy x Amstaff mum, Mastiff mix dad) born on 10 May 2025. Expected to be a large girl when fully grown, Bianca combines size and strength with a gentle nature and stunning amber-green eyes that turn heads and melt hearts.
She is an affectionate, people-loving girl who thrives on human company. Bianca will happily follow you around like your shadow, soaking up pats and attention. While she adores people, she’s also comfortable living outdoors and enjoys spending time in the yard. When inside, she can become very excited and may wee a little, so she would benefit from ongoing house training if she’s to live an inside–outside lifestyle.
Bianca is excellent with people, wonderful with children, and gets along well with other dogs. She previously lived with a family and was reluctantly surrendered due to rental restrictions — the landlord allowed only one dog, and as the most recent addition, Bianca was sadly the one to leave.
She has shown interest in farm animals, so she’ll be best suited to a home with secure fencing and no livestock. While she has climbed her foster mum’s fence once, she responded well to calm, firm direction and has not repeated the behaviour.
Bianca didn’t receive much training before coming into care, but she’s now learning the basics. She knows how to sit and is learning to walk nicely on lead. With consistency and guidance, she has all the makings of a well-mannered, loyal and protective family companion.
About the Breed Mix
Staffy Mastiffs are known for being big, gentle and deeply loyal. When well socialised, they adore children, make excellent guardians and can be great companions for older adopters. They enjoy having a backyard to snooze and play in and love being close to their people. With early introductions, they may also learn to live peacefully with cats.
If you’re looking for a lazy, lovable and devoted companion, Bianca could be the perfect match.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
