Marcie's story began when she came into our care as a tiny orphan at just 3 weeks old. Since then, she has blossomed into the most beautiful, affectionate little girl who absolutely adores people. 💕
Despite being one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet, Marcie has sadly had zero adoption applications, and we can't understand why.
Marcie is a confident, friendly and curious young cat who loves being involved in whatever her humans are doing. She enjoys playing with her toys, exploring her surroundings and entertaining herself, but her favourite thing is spending time with people.
One of the things we love most about Marcie is that she has the perfect balance of affection and independence. She is more than happy to keep herself occupied with toys, adventures and exploring, but when she is ready for company, she will happily seek out her humans for cuddles, pats and quality time. 💕
She has a wonderfully affectionate nature and loves curling up beside you after a day of play. Marcie is the perfect companion for someone looking for a cat who enjoys human company without needing constant attention.
She is also wonderfully adaptable and gets along well with other cats and dogs, making her an easy addition to many different types of homes.

Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
