About Maverick - 4 Month Old Mastiff X
Maverick is a gentle soul with a shy nature and a cheeky, playful side that shines through once he feels safe. He came into care with his littermates and is now ready to find a forever family to call his own.
Quiet and sweet, Maverick might take a little time to warm up but once he does, you’ll discover a playful pup who adores both his furry friends and his human ones. He loves running around with his doggy foster sibling and is just as happy playing chase or snuggling up with the kids in his foster home.
This beautiful boy is a cuddle expert he is happiest curled up at your feet or snuggled into your lap, soaking up all the love he can get. Maverick thrives on gentle affection and calm companionship.
Maverick is smart he has already learnt to sit and shake paws on command. He is an affectionate, and a quick learner. With time, patience, and love, Maverick will grow into a loyal, well-rounded companion.

Maverick Overview

His adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas, worms and is microchipped.
He is in foster care in Wallsend, Newcastle, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
