About Ellie - 4 Month Old Bull Arab X
Say hello to Ellie, bursting with life, personality, and potential! Weighing in at around 8–10 kg and growing fast, this clever little girl is expected to be medium to large in size when fully grown. She’s vaccinated (2/3 so far), microchipped, and ready for her forever family to help her thrive.
Ellie is full of beans - energetic, confident, and always up for fun. Whether she’s proudly parading her latest stick treasure or trying to climb into your lap during car rides, she’s a bold, smart puppy who adores being close to her people. She’s learning to sit, shake, and lie down, and picks things up quickly with consistent guidance.
She’s still working on house training and crate training, but she’s doing well for her age and sleeps soundly in a crate at the end of the bed. During the day, she’ll nap wherever she feels comfortable. She’s dog-friendly and confident on her own too, making her a great fit as a solo dog or in a home with another friendly pup.
Ellie hasn’t been tested with kids or cats yet, but given her playful and sometimes jumpy nature, she may do best with older kids or dog-savvy families willing to work with her through her bouncy puppy stage. Lead training and further socialisation are still on the to-do list.
Behind all that puppy energy is a sensitive side. Ellie came from a very loving owner who sadly became homeless, and during that time, she was kept in a harness for long periods, causing some skin sores (now healing well). Because she was constantly by her owner’s side, Ellie never learned to be alone so she’s now facing some separation anxiety. She’s learning how to manage it, but her future family will need to be patient, understanding, and committed to helping her feel safe and confident on her own.
Ellie would thrive in an active home with people who can match her energy and put time into training. She’s not just a puppy she’s a project with endless potential, and in the right home, she’ll become a loyal, loving, and unstoppable companion.
Her adoption fee is $800, which includes desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
She is located in Singleton, NSW. Since not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months old.
