About Rivet
😸 Loves other cats (especially his siblings), and would adore a feline friend or two, but open to being an only cat
🐶 Untested with dogs, but would likely be fine with a slow introduction
👶🏻 Great with kids, as long as they're gentle and not overly loud
🏠 Strictly indoors only (a fully enclosed, professionally installed catio is fine)
❣️ Adores attention and is super affectionate with people

Rivet's your classic kitten – playful, cuddly and cute as can be. As with all youngsters, it's tricky to say exactly what his personality will be like when he grows up – but he has all the makings of a perfect little companion!

As with most kittens in a new environment or with new people, he may be slightly shy at first, but whip out a wand toy and you'll be besties in no time.
Our favourite things about Rivet are his twitchy little tail (it's always whooshing from side to side!) and his inability to meow (he opens his mouth – but no sound comes out).
‼️ He very well may learn to use his voice box in future, so don't go thinking you're safe from midnight meows!

Oh, and we can also arrange for you to meet lots of other cats and kittens at the same time, in case another one is a better match!

Adoption details
If interested in a cat that is available for adoption, we require you to fill out an adoption application, and one of our lovely foster carers will give you a call to organise a time for a meet and greet.
Please note: As we are all volunteers with limited time up our sleeves, we prefer all interested potential adopters to fill out an application, rather than send an enquiry, as this helps us know more about you and what you are after, and saves us all a lot of time!
