A thoughtful and gentle girl who likes to take things at her own pace, Liquorice may not be the life of the party - but once she’s decided you’re her person, you’ll have a best friend for life!

Independent and observant, Liquorice prefers to keep an eye on her world from a cosy hiding spot, often blending into the shadows before popping out at just the right moment to surprise you with a playful jump. She’s clever and just a tiny bit cheeky, with a calm and curious nature. She's also quietly affectionate and will seek you out for company when she’s ready - especially if there’s a licky treat involved!

Since coming out of her shell, Liquorice has proven she’s more than ready to be the benevolent ruler of a loving home - one that gives her space to settle in and lets her true personality shine :)

Like all Maggie's pets, Liquorice Allsorts is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be fairly calm and peaceful, with patient people who'll let me build trust in my own time. I get along well with other cats and would love a feline friend to play and lounge with, especially one who’s gentle and confident.

That said, if my humans give me regular playtime and plenty of quiet affection I think I'd be just as happy as a solo kitten. I can't wait to get comfortable and feel like a true member of the family!

MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm really well-balanced - enjoying a good burst of playtime, chasing toys or wrestling with a cat friend, before finding a sunny spot for a long, leisurely nap.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Family life might be nice, as long as I'm given all the time and space I need to adjust. Calm cat-savvy kids aged 10+ would be best, I think. With gentle handling and patience, I have the potential to form strong bonds and become a sweet, steady companion.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats are loads of fun! I thrive with a bit of company and often come out of my shell faster when another cat shows me the ropes :)

I haven’t been tested with dogs yet, but with a calm, cat-friendly pup and a slow-and-steady introduction, I may be open to sharing my space.
