About Reese's Pieces

Confident little queen Reese's Pieces has personality in spades! A born explorer, she's on a mission to uncover all the hidden nooks in your home and make sure everyone knows who’s in charge (hint: it’s her).
And it shouldn't take her long to get comfortable, either! Within days of arriving in foster care, she'd sized up the resident cats, waited for just the right moment, and launched her tiny takeover. With a bold leap and a cheeky swat, she claimed the top perch on the cat tree - gently but firmly booting the two older cats down the levels! Ever since, that spot has been hers and she keeps a watchful eye over her kingdom from above.
Small in size, big in attitude - that's Reese's Pieces! And while she's big-time playful, constantly curious and always on the move, once she’s satisfied her sense of adventure, she transforms into the ultimate snuggle bug. Her favourite place to nap? Curled up right on your chest, purring her heart out :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Reese's Pieces is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'll thrive in a home with another kitty companion and humans who are happy to be followed from room to room. I'm sweet, sassy and ready to run the house - are you ready to be part of my world?
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten-high! My bursts of activity throughout the day - from exploring and chasing toys, to trotting along happily at your heels - are balanced by plenty of calm moments and cuddles. As I grow, my energy is already showing signs of settling into a more relaxed, affectionate rhythm.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A home with gentle, respectful children who'll cuddle and spend time with me sounds pretty wonderful! I'm very tolerant of handling and I adore affection, but too much noise or a busy environment with lots of little hands could overwhelm me. A household with one or two calm kids would suit me best, especially if there’s another confident cat around to help me feel at ease.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get along beautifully with older resident cats and enjoy their company! They help me feel safe and settled.
Though I haven't been tested with dogs, I'd likely do well with calm, cat-friendly ones who'll give me space and time to adjust.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
