About Markee - 8 Week Old Staffy X
🐾 Meet Markee 🐶 - with eyes that will melt your heart & who has the sweetest nature. He wants to take on the world, but is still a bit unsure of new things and runs back to the safety of his foster mum. After a busy day he loves a snuggle and happily sleeps in his crate all night. He loves lying in the sun after a busy game in the yard.
Markee came to Dog Rescue Newcastle all alone and has flourished in foster care with his big dog foster sister Bella. Markee has been well socialised with other dogs big and small, he has met the family cat and bird. Markee is loved by all the children in the street and they love visiting for play dates.
Markee is still quite young so is learning the basic commands and will need a family committed to his ongoing training, socialisation and toilet training. His toilet training is going well and he is eager to learn with rewards.
Markee sleeps inside in a puppy pen and needs to be welcomed inside, especially at night. Markee loves people so needs a home where he can be a part of the family, included in day-to-day life, and given plenty of mental stimulation, exercise, play, and love. Being a puppy, Markee is very curious and loves to explore so you must have a puppy proofed home.
Markee needs secure fencing and a yard that is completely puppy proof - no under house access, no soft soil to get out under and no choke hazards lying around.
Markee would love a playmate, so a home with a confident, adult dog as a teacher, companion, and playmate would be a great bonus.
