Swoopes is a very shy but lovable lady who’s still discovering the world and learning to build confidence. At almost two years old, she’s past the puppy chaos but still young enough to keep learning and growing. She’s a calm companion with a heart of gold, looking for lots of cuddles and lazy afternoons on the couch.
Swoopes is very shy of men and strangers, mostly avoiding them, but bonds closely with women and children.

She adores other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident dog friend to show her the ropes. She’s great with kids, loves her walks, and her snacks. What she really needs is a kind, patient home that will help her feel safe and supported as she continues to come out of her shell.

Swoopes is toilet-trained, can sit on command, loves to play fetch and is very responsive to gentle correction. She is intelligent and eager to please, can be left alone without causing any damage, and is happy to see you when you return home.
