It’s hard not to fall head over heels the moment you meet Antonio. With his soulful eyes, gentle heart, and irresistible smile, this sweet and affectionate boy is a total charmer. Antonio is a true people-dog—his favourite thing in the world is human connection. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love, cuddles, and tail wags, Antonio is your guy.

Antonio thrives in a calm, one-on-one environment where he can be the centre of attention. He’d be the perfect match for someone looking for a devoted companion—especially a senior who spends lots of time at home. He’ll happily follow you around, settle by your feet, and enjoy the simple joys of being by your side.
He’s crate-trained and finds comfort in his little den. Despite being 11 years old, Antonio is full of life! He still enjoys playtime, chewing on toys, and going on leisurely walks where he can sniff to his heart’s content. He’s well-mannered on leash and loves nothing more than exploring the world by your side.

Health-wise, Antonio does have a grade 4 heart murmur, which requires daily medication—but don’t worry, he’s incredibly easy to medicate (just hand it over like a treat, and down it goes!).
He’s recently been desexed in his foster home, and we’re hopeful this will help reduce his tendency to mark his territory.
As the king of the castle, Antonio prefers to be the only dog in the home. He’s not fond of sharing his people, food, or toys with other dogs. Walks should be dog-free too, as he can be reactive with other pups. That said, he’s surprisingly cat-friendly and gets along well with his foster sibling of the feline variety.

Antonio comes with a few quirks, but don’t we all? He’s looking for a loving forever home with someone who appreciates his unique personality and is happy to give him the care and companionship he deserves.
