Meet Teddy 🧸

If you have ever wanted a real-life teddy bear, Teddy might be your kind of dog.

Teddy is very chilled and has the soft, gentle nature to match his name. He loves being handled, enjoys a good cuddle, and is happiest relaxing close to his people. In foster care with a loving family, he has shown just how calm and easygoing he can be.

He has not been a barker at all in his foster home. With new people he may give a quick “hello” bark, but it passes quickly and you are left with a very sweet, affectionate boy. He walks nicely on lead and already knows how to sit, showing he enjoys learning and engaging with his humans.

Teddy takes his treats seriously and has a special love for pig ears and mealtimes. Food is definitely one of his favourite topics.

Because Teddy is in foster care, we know his personality and what helps him feel comfortable and settled. He can be met easily by submitting an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet. SAFE is a foster-based rescue and we do not have a shelter you can visit, but that does not stop you from adopting a beautiful dog like Teddy.
