About Broccoli
Meet Broccoli - affectionately known as Papacoli (because, honestly, I couldn’t decide between Broccoli and Paprika, and she has got the spice to match both). This medium-haired ginger queen may have a name that sounds like a vegetable, but she’s got the personality of a full-blown firecracker with a side of snuggle.
Broccoli didn’t exactly arrive with open paws, she was caught on the streets, she came into care with a serious case of the growlies. There were hisses. There were dramatic purrito wraps. There may have been a few betrayal stares. But over time, and with a lot of love (and even more treats), she’s learned that humans aren’t that bad. She’s still a bit sceptical with strangers, but she’s got a soft spot that can be unlocked - usually with a shake of the treat jar. Broccoli always has a slightly worried look on her adorable little face, like she's just remembered she left the oven on - even though she doesn’t know what an oven is.
Her weakness? Temptations. The second she hears that jar rattle, she transforms from elusive street cat to professional snack hoover. Wet food is fine, but treats? That’s the key to her ginger heart.
When she’s not munching snacks or carefully selecting her next toy (springs are a fave, and she proudly parades them around the house), Broccoli is all about cat company. She adores the older cats in the house and becomes their fluffy little shadow, making sure they never go anywhere alone - EVER.
And when the day winds down, she reveals her true talent: bedtime cuddler extraordinaire. Broccoli will curl right into you and stay snuggled all night long, purring like a tiny tractor with the most delightfully raspy motor.
If you're looking for a kitten with just the right mix of spice, sass, and bedtime snuggle - Broccoli might just be the purring veggie nugget your home needs.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
