About Twisty - In foster care in Thornbury
Meet Twisty – The Life of the Party
Okay, picture this: a cat who’s playful, confident, ridiculously charming, and just a little bit mischievous. That’s Twisty. He’s one of a kind—in the very best way.
Twisty has two modes. Mode one: zooming around the house like a furry Olympian, turning cardboard boxes into forts, and reminding you that life is supposed to be fun. Mode two: stretching out next to you on the couch in the evening, all smooshy and happy while you dish out belly rubs and head scritches. He’s not exactly a lap cat, but he’s a world-class lounger and cuddle buddy.
He’s a confident guy—loud noises don’t faze him, and he’s first to the door to say hi to new friends. Twisty loves people, kids included, and he plays gently with them. He’s good with other cats too, though he’d prefer a buddy who’s young and can keep up with his rambunctious side. If not, he’d be just as happy ruling the roost solo.
Twisty’s happy place? A window with a view. He’ll spend hours gazing out, keeping an eye on the world like the curious, clever cat he is. A catio or a big space to run around would be his dream come true.
Here’s the headline: Twisty isn’t just a cat. He’s entertainment, companionship, and joy, all rolled into one very handsome package. If you’ve got the energy and the love, he’s got everything else covered.

Medical notes
Twisty has a small ventricular septal defect (VSD) in his heart, causing a grade 4 heart murmur. A recent echocardiogram shows no current damage or need for medication. A repeat echo is recommended in January 2026 to monitor for changes.
In July 2025, Twisty underwent a dental scale and polish, with several teeth extracted. Ongoing daily dental care—such as a dental diet, additives, or dental treats—is recommended to help slow the progression of dental disease.
He also has a mild sternal abnormality and a healed tail fracture with sharp bone ends, both of which are not currently causing any issues.
