Bella

Bella is a sweet, intelligent, and gentle little lady who is ready to find her forever family. At around 2 years old, Bella may be young, but she has the calm and knowing presence of an old soul. Weighing just 4kg, she may be small in size, but she is full of love.

Our special lady Bella has blossomed in foster care with her amazing and dedicated carer. When she first arrived, she needed a few vet visits for some tummy troubles, which are now resolved. What has truly shone during her time in foster is how much emotional growth and confidence she has gained. Every day she has become a little more comfortable, a little braver, and a little more herself.

Bella is fully toilet-trained, enjoys her walks, listens to her humans, and absolutely loves a cuddle - whether it's sitting next to you or curling up on your lap when you've had a tough day. She is crate-trained and sees her crate as a safe and cosy place for meals or when she needs to be left alone. She has not been left alone for long periods, so a home where she isn't left outside or inside by herself for extended times would suit her best.

While she is affectionate and kind, Bella is still a timid and nervous little soul who needs a patient, gentle family who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to settle in. She may also benefit from further support from a behaviourist or trainer in the future to help her overcome some lingering habits from her past.

Bella could live with other calm and gentle dogs of similar size, and she would also be happy in a home with children aged 12 and up who can respect her need for space and quiet moments.
