🐕Meet Mello!🐕
Mello is a 50 kg male senior Maremma with a heart as big as his fluffy white coat. As a guardian dog, Mello's loyal and protective nature shines through, making him a wonderful companion. He loves people and gets along great with other dogs, always eager to make new friends both big and small. He is loving towards all other animals in the house so great with cats, bunnies, chooks and farm animals.
🐾 Personality:
This gentle giant is a fantastic guardian dog who adores people and other dogs, making him a perfect fit for a farm setting to protect. He is house trained and has a laid-back attitude, though he prefers to come when called at his own pace. He's incredibly loyal to his animals and doesn't get easily spooked.
Mello has been in the guardian game for 11 years so he is now quite the chilled gent and loves a comfy bed inside and outside to snooze on. He will play chasing games with other dogs for short periods but then goes back to snoozing while protecting his home.
🎓 Training:
Mello is house trained and has a unique personality—he comes when called, though at his own leisure, and isn't phased by much at all. He loves lounging about in the sun and chewing on a bone, its an intense job and he takes it seriously. Mello would thrive in a working home where he can have a job to do, keeping busy and fulfilled. Fences are a must for Mello, as he will take a stroll to see what else is around. If you're looking for a devoted, affectionate furry friend, Mello is the perfect addition to your family!
🏠 Perfect Home:
Mello has past the age of active outdoor guardian duty but will still rise to the occasion if he feels his home or animals are under threat. He is looking for a loving home in the burbs or on property where he can see out his years with respect, love and dignity. If you're seeking a loving, dependable, and slightly independent canine companion, Mello is ready to be your steadfast friend and protector!🐾❤️

~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits, can you guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
