About Kiwi
Meet Kiwi! She is a pretty tan brindle coloured gentle natured girl who loves her humans of all sizes. 🧡
She was adopted from our friends at CAPS in Weipa by a lovely couple, who flew her down to Brisbane. Sadly, their beautiful 9 year old Cattle Dog is set in her ways and did not want a companion. 💔 Instead of sending Kiwi back they have kept her here as there are more options in Brisbane to rehome her. ✔
She is well natured, obedient, housetrained and is a loving girl. 🎓
She loves going on adventures like going to the beach or camping. 🌞
She is great with other dogs and we would like to see her in a new home with a male dog companion. 🐶🐶
She is great on her lead and loves her daily walks. 🦮
She is suited to a home with no cats. 🐱❌
She would prefer company either of another dog or someone that is home more often than not. She doesn’t really like to be alone for long periods. ⌚
She needs a home where she can live and sleep inside with access to a secure yard. She can jump fences so a 6ft secured fence is a must. 🏡

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
