Basil is a big-hearted goofball with a playful streak and an endless supply of affection. Having enjoyed life as a much-loved pet for around a year, he has all the basics of home life down pat and, after being returned through no fault of his own, has slipped straight back into foster care as though he'd never left.

A versatile boy, Basil could happily live in an apartment but would certainly appreciate a yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy the occasional zoomie. He is equally content as an only dog or sharing his home with another canine companion. Basil is friendly with dogs of all sizes, including small dogs, and is also cat-friendly, making him a wonderful option for many different households.

Basil loves being around his people and will happily hand out cuddles and kisses whenever the opportunity arises. He's confident out and about, walks beautifully on lead, and takes busy environments in his stride. Food is definitely the way to his heart, and a tasty long-lasting treat is the perfect way to keep him entertained.

Basil is wonderful with children of all ages and absolutely loves being part of family life. His happy, playful nature means he's always up for joining in the fun before happily settling down for some well-earned pats. He's also toilet trained and will let you know when he needs to head outside, making him an easy addition to the household.
