Grover

Gorgeous Grover is in need of a home 🏡
He was in foster care but sadly his foster carer who is in the Australian Defense Force is being deployed unexpectedly leaving Grover with nowhere to go ☹️
Grover is a beautiful, intelligent, cheeky boy. He is happy & healthy 😊 He loves water & is very happy to have a shower and always keen to have a swim and play in the lake. He loves playing with his toys, especially his ball 🥎 he’ll happily throw this up in the air and retrieve it, amusing himself whilst also making you smile 😀
As a pup, he does have energy to burn & he can be jumpy & nippy at times, but with continued training this can be easily corrected 👍
Grover is food motivated & can “sit” & “stay” very well, knows “in your bed” and is working on his “come” and “heel”. He has also learnt to wait for the “ok” to dive into his dinner 😋
Grover is affectionate & loves pats & a back & shoulder massage! He’ll happily be massaged, even closing his eyes in the process 😴
Grover is also crate trained and sleeps through the night 💤 He is also almost completely house trained with only a few accidents whilst he has been learning.
Grover seems to be ok around, and has interacted with other large dogs but he is not keen on smaller dogs 🐶
Grover will need a home with a backyard for him to run and play in with secure fencing. He could live with older dog savvy children in their teens but would not be suitable for smaller children as he is still learning his manners and his size.
He is currently staying at Bear the dog Behaviorist Centre, but as they are closing for one month in August 2025, we need to find him a home in the next two weeks.
