About Lana & Choctop
Meet Lana and Choctop, two beautifully bonded sisters looking for a special new family. These lovely feline companions share an unbreakable bond and are eager to bring their unique charm and companionship to a peaceful new environment. Adopting these sisters means welcoming a ready-made feline family into your home, as they come as an inseparable duo.
Both Lana and Choctop may be a bit shy when meeting new people or adjusting to new surroundings. With time, patience, and gentle love, these sweet-natured sisters will warm up, revealing their affectionate personalities. Once they've settled in, you'll find them to be wonderful companions who adore each other's company. Lana tends to be the more outgoing of the pair, and you'll often find her taking the lead when they're exploring together.
These sisters truly thrive in a serene, quiet home where they can take their time to adjust without the hustle and bustle of children or canine companions. Their perfect home is one where they can be the center of attention, offering their gentle purrs and soft cuddles. You'll be rewarded with the joy of experiencing their special sisterly bond and witnessing their personalities bloom together.
If you're seeking a pair of enchanting, devoted companions with a touch of independence and charm, Lana and Choctop could be the ideal addition to your household. Welcome them into your home and heart, and you'll be amazed by the love and warmth they bring.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
